Zoom – iPhone/iPad

Installing Zoom App

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Tap on Search at the bottom
  3. Tap on Search at the top
  4. Type in Zoom
  5. Tap on Zoom Cloud Meeting
  6. Tap on Get
  7. Tap on Install
  8. Type in your Apple ID password if asked for

Joining a Meeting

NOTE: You do not need to sign up or sign in to join a meeting.

Joining a Meeting with a Meeting ID

  1. Open the Zoom App
  2. Tap on Join a Meeting
  3. Type in the Meeting ID as given by your instructor
  4. In the second box type in your name as you wish your instructor to see it.
  5. Tap on Join
  6. Type in the password as given to you by your instructor
  7. tap on OK or Join
  8. If asked for allow access please click on Allow or OK, you may have to do this more than once.
  9. Tap on Join with Video (or join without video if you do not wish to be seen)
  10. If you see a screen saying “Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon.” you will need to wait for your instructor to allow you in. If you still see this screen after the session is due to start, please contact your instructor.
  11. Tap on Call using Internet Audio

Joining with a Link

  1. Click on the link provided by your instructor
  2. Tap on Open
  3. If asked for allow access please click on Allow or OK, you may have to do this more than once.
  4. Tap on Join with Video (or join without video if you do not wish to be seen)
  5. If you see a screen saying “Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon.” you will need to wait for your instructor to allow you in. If you still see this screen after the session is due to start, please contact your instructor.
  6. Tap on Call using Internet Audio
