The Statement of Acknowledgement (Kaurna – Adelaide):

We acknowledge this land that we meet on today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country.

We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.

We also pay respects to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting/attending from other areas of South Australia/Australia.

Everyone was busy today! Huong was sweeping the carpark whilst Marcus installed the car stops. Thomas ran his 1:1 personalised Digital Literacy sessions, Peter the personalised 1:1 Literacy sessions for people with learning difficulties/disabilities; and At Work Employment had a steady flow of clientele passing through. Donna was doing the centre’s Book Keeping, Ying, Elieen and Leanne maintained the centre; and Adelaide has put up her hand to act as an Instructor for the Art Group (please note: there will be some weeks when she’ll be unable to attend). For more information call 8341-1334.
