The Statement of Acknowledgement (Kaurna – Adelaide):
We acknowledge this land that we meet on today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country.
We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.
We also pay respects to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting/attending from other areas of South Australia/Australia.
The Junction Community Centre
Junction Community Centre has for over 30 years provided the local community with a range of activities, workshops and classes.
Junction Community Centre is a place where you can meet, join a class or workshop, throw a party and more!
We welcome all people in the community to take part, have fun and learn from the many activities held at the Junction and supported by our culturally diverse community groups.
Junction Community Centre is a popular venue for people from our multicultural community who attend the various courses, classes, functions and parties. Many classes are in high demand. New activities & courses are regularly added to the program.
On our Facebook page you will find updates and information about our classes and groups. You are able to connect with other people who attend groups or classes at the Junction Community Centre.
Yet another senseless act. This couple stole our bin (that was zip-tied to the fence) at 2am on Sunday morning in the rain. Whilst people are welcome to use the BBQ area to cook food at their convenience, if you witness others destroying/stealing our property, please contact the police. We work to support our local community - this is disheartening.

We went to dinner at the Hoang Phat Vietnamese Restaurant in Woodville Gardens last night to celebrate Volunteers’ Week. It was really nice seeing everyone relaxed and happy - they’re a great team!
Please join us for NEXT week's COMMUNITY LUNCH with yummy pumpkin soup followed by fish fillets and potato salad. $7/person.
There are so many activities to choose from at our Youth Hub! You can do Aerial Silks, learn to play the didgeridoo, play board games, do cooking or craft - or try hip hop with Matt! Every Monday from 3.30-5.30pm. $10 for two hours of unlimited activities! Kids being kids!
Unfortunately we’ve had a few unwanted ‘late night visitors’ over the past few weeks who’ve deliberately damaged things, ransacked closed areas, stolen items and engaged in other anti-social activities. The police have been notified. Whilst people are welcome to use the bbq area - it is only that area please.
