the Committee of Management met on July 2nd and in accordance with the State Government's Stage 3 Easing of Restrictions have approved the resumption of 95% of the centre's activities.
The COM has decided to delay the return of Playgroup, large community events and private function hire for now - this will be reviewed prior to the start of term 4 (Oct, 2020).
We have asked that all Group Facilitators do a Covid-safe plan (www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery/create-a-covid-safe-plan); and all Group Facilitators, centre staff and volunteers do the free Covid Infection Control 15 minute online training (www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covid-19-infection-control-training) prior to our resuming activities at the start of term 3 (week beginning July 20th).
Please note: EVERYONE using the centre will be required to use sanitiser, practice social distancing and complete the Covid Contact Tracing form/sign in sheet in the front foyer upon entry.
For the safety of all, everyone MUST comply with the Government's Covid health guidelines whilst engaging in the centre or you will be asked to leave.
Please feel free to contact either Kay or Sophia should you have any concerns.
We look forward to seeing you soon!!!
There’s never a shortage of beautiful people in the community. Only a few days after receiving a generous donation from the Honorable Susan Close we had Jennifer from the Crafty Bees deliver some handmade baby clothing that’s just adorable! Local new mums finding things a bit tough at the moment - these are for you. 🌸

We recently launched an anti-racism campaign titled “Racism: It’s Not Just Black & White”. This title was chosen because we wanted to highlight the racism that goes beyond the colour of one’s skin or behaviours that are blatantly obvious - namely the ‘unconscious bias’ which is all too often used sometimes without the person even realising the assumptions they’ve made or the offence they’ve caused. We are offering this one hour educational workshop to community groups and workplaces for $200. Two presenters will discuss racism, its impact on the victim and community plus their personal lived experiences. You will also have the opportunity to view a 5 minute thought provoking video and purchase merchandise to encourage the conversation. Posters are $5 each or buy a set of 8 for $25. Please contact Sophia on 8341-1334 for more info or to make a booking. LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. Thanks
